Rebecca Fannin is a business journalist with several financial magazines. She has published several books about the transformation of India and (especially) China into corporate and technological entrepreneurs. One of her early books was Silicon Dragon, about China. Now, because of Covid's travel restrictions, she has confined her reporting trips to the heartland of the US, where she sees real changes in the "rust belt."
