Did you know that employees still take paper clips home from work every day? Don't worry! They take more than paperclips home too. You see, employees take all the hardships and misery they face at work home. Especially racialized employees who feel isolated. They create a safe place at home to share their common experiences. Yesterday, I spoke to an employee who told me that she will no longer be silent. What does that tell you? Employees are tired of being passed over, dismissed, dehumanized and ignored because of their race, gender, ethnicity or orientation. There has been a rush of requests lately to address these issues and though I think it's time. Time to be more inclusive, promote equity and build up the intelligence in your workplace.
