This week I am very excited to share with you my meaningful conversation with Susan Verde who is the author of the "I Am" series and her newest addition, "I Am Courage" came out on September 7. In this episode, Susan shares about how she came to love reading and writing so much. We discuss how picture books are able to break down "big messages" into more manageable parts. You will love Susan's story about meeting and becoming friends with Peter Reynolds, her illustration partner in the "I Am" series.
