“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

This verse is built on a command. Our God and King isn’t suggesting we have courage. He isn’t hoping we stand strong. He demands we remember that He is with us, and that we will be victorious.
