(1)  COYOTE UGLY (Worst Love Scene)

A Massachusetts lawyer was suspended for 90 days for sending nude selfies and explicit texts to a client.  See Massachusetts No. BD-2022-034.

(2)  I CARE A LOT (Pit Bull Award)

A one-year suspension has been recommended for an Illinois lawyer who took his elderly client suffering from dementia out of a nursing home so that she could withdraw $3,500 from her bank to pay his legal fees.  See Illinois Commission No. 2020PR00045.

(3)  DEAD MEN DON'T WEAR PLAID (Least Competent in a Legal Setting)

A complaint has been filed against an Illinois lawyer who attempted to settle a claim on behalf of a dead client.  See Illinois Commission No. 2022PR00039.

(4)  PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE (Most Impaired in a Legal Setting)

A Canadian lawyer was reprimanded for continuing to send drunken texts to other women lawyers with whom he had no professional dealings.  See 2022 MBLS 4.
