On December 15, 1978, Superman was released in theaters, paving the way for a new film genre and legitimizing superheroes in general. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of this classic, Shawn shows it to self-professed Superman agnostic T.C. Padgett. The pair discusses T.C.'s reaction to his first viewing, whether or not it changed his opinions on Superman and why the Man of Steel seems to be such a tough character to adapt in this day and age.
