He is a Schaeffer Professor of Medicine of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Associate Dean for Advanced Medical Practice. He was previously the Chief of Internal Medicine at Penn Presbyterian as well as the President of the American College of Physicians.
