Right before He was betrayed and arrested to be crucified, Jesus sat down for a final meal with His Disciples. Today, we remember this meal as the Last Supper. Jesus did two things at this meal: He kept the Jewish Passover and He gave Holy Communion to those of us who profess Him as Lord.
The question we’re asking is a simple one. What’s the connection between these three things? If we can understand the connection between the Communion, the Passover, and Easter, I believe our faith in Jesus will increase as will our joy in all that He is for us. Perhaps we will even gain a deeper and more fulfilling appreciation for all the Holy Communion represents.
Beloved, I pray Jesus will bless you as you learn how the three are connected.
