History will be made in Texas High School football history on Saturday,  January 16th when a father and a son will coach against each other for a state championship.

Legendary Westlake High School head coach, Todd Dodge will coach against Southlake Carroll High School's Riley Dodge for the UIL 6A Division I state title.

The back story, Riley was Todd's quarterback in the 2006 state title game at the Alamodome for Southlake Carroll against Westlake.

Riley led the Dragons to the championship. 

Over 14 years later, the Dodges will be on opposite sidelines competing for the title in the highest classification of Texas high school football at AT&T Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

The two were suppose to meet in week 1 at AT&T Cowboys Stadium, but Covid didn't allow that to happen.
