What does normalizing the bond in abnormal times mean? When the COVID-19 quarantine began, the answer seemed obvious. Now, I’m not so sure it is
Like MC Escher’s engraving “Day and Night”, pandemics like COVID-19 alter our views of normality. But unlike Escher’s work with its alternate views of reality which remains the same and gives us time to sort it out to our satisfaction, the effects of pandemics may evolve and change on a daily basis. What seemed normal today, may not be tomorrow, or next week, or next month.
