Back in 2017 we worked together on a piece that was performed as part of his graduation recital. I came with words while Azubike came with music. The result was Another Day Goes By, which was a gentle meditation on the cycle of life as viewed through the lens of a single day.

And then, as these things go, we both got on with the various bits and pieces of our lives: The words retired to a computer file while the music… well it was out there somewhere. Anyway, with a lot of joy in my heart Azubike’s music and these words have met up once again.
