Episode #53: Drivers file lawsuit against Uber and Lyft, alleging price fixing and anti-trust violations

Three California rideshare drivers filed a class-action suit in the state's Superior Court. The lawsuit alleges that Uber and Lyft engage in unlawful price-fixing, violates anti-trust rules and results in drivers earning less.

 The lawsuit comes almost two years after passage of Proposition 22, which classifies rideshare drivers in California as "independent workers" and not employees.

With us to talk about the issue is Rideshare Drivers United president, Nicole Moore. She spoke to Digital Village co-host, Leilani Albano.
