This episode we discussed some of the problematic comments made by artists in the past week. Future exhibited toxic masculinity with his comments on Ciara & Russell Wilson, while Erykah Badu (who should have been canceled for her previous Hitler comments) tried to exhibit sympathy for R. Kelly at a show in Chicago and was rightfully boo'd. We discussed the issues both of these scenarios brought up, and also dove into where the line between appropriation and appreciation lies in lieu of Ariana Grande's video for "7 Rings" being called out.

Finally, we discussed the culture of shaming people for not being hip to certain artists, why it's whack, how NO ONE knows EVERYONE, and how industry personalities are held to an unfair standard.
