Episode 53 - Jack Parsons - Science and the Occult

Listen Later

Jack Parsons was a rocket engineer in the 1930s who is widely credited as pioneering the advancement of both liquid-fuel and solid-fuel rockets. Without many of his breakthroughs, America may not have ever had a space shuttle program. However, along with his brilliant mind and great contributions in the field of rocket science, there existed a darker side to Parsons. Devil conjuring, obsessions with the occult, and relationships with the likes of Aleister Crowley and L. Ron Hubbard were just a small part of his bizarre and creepy life. Join Chris, Johnny and Carter as they delve into this month's round table discussion on this episode of History Creeps.
