This weeks episode of the Live Your Purpose Podcast I sat down with Jasmyn Williams and had a very dope conversation!

Prior to being an entrepreneur I spent years working in the mental health field with Minority Behavioral Health Group here in Akron, and majority of the work I was a apart of took place in public schools and charter schools.

Jasmyn specializes in building content centered around sharing strategies centered in advocacy, wellness with a goal to amplify the stories of educating in the inner city.

In this conversation we spoke about her story and what lead her to wanting to becoming an educator, her experiences working in charter schools, and her visions and goals for The Urban Educator brand. Jasmyn is a special person with a heart of gold, it’s a must we continue to highlight people like her who show up everyday to serve our Black babies while educating adults on how to serve them best.
