I've always had people with different views around me. I enjoy it because it opens up my perspective. But now, I'm seeing people share

and respond to things that aren't true. That's why I started fact-checking on social media. This 'feelings over facts movement' is creating this tribalism

that allows feelings to be more important than facts; and is poisoning us and our ability to have civil discourse as Americans. This may be our downfall.
