There is an old adage that says it is better to give than it is to receive. In thinking about that saying, we have lost a bit of something in not knowing how to be gracious receivers. Perhaps that element of grace is one of the things missing in overall civility. What a difference there would be if we were to restore more civility in our lives. Consider practicing grace.
