In this episode, Joshua talks with Kenny Zehr, one of the summer APD's of 2026. They talk about Kenny's years at camp, how camp has impacted him, and their favorite camp traditions. Kenny also talks about some things he hopes to convey to the staff, campers, and parents this summer!

Hi! My name is Kenny Zehr and I am from Henderson, NY. I’m 20 years old and this summer I will be one of the Assistant Program Directors here at Beaver Camp. This is my fifth summer working at camp. Previously I have served one summer in our Teen Leadership program and three summers as a counselor and wilderness trip leader. I’m currently enrolled at SUNY Oswego where I am studying to become a history teacher. This fall will be my final semester as a wrap up student teaching. Outside of camp I enjoy hiking, hanging out with friends, and baseball. Beaver Camp has played such a big role in developing my faith and making it my own. I’m excited for this summer and the plans the Lord has in store.
