April talks about Peter Thomas Anthony Manuel AKA The Beast of Birkenshaw who was a serial killer active from 1956-1958 in Scotland. He terrorized the entire area and people were terrified to go out by themselves. He was the most prolific serial killer in Scotland as he was charged with 7 murders, but allegedly confessed to 18 in total. His crimes and character have been used as inspiration for television and film. Also discussed; diminished responsibility and insanity pleas, frontal lobe epilepsy, and serial killers representing themselves in court. 

The cocktail for this episode is called the Butterscotch Beast. It is delicious! Recipe below;

BUTTERSCOTCH BEAST

1 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
1 1/2 oz. kahlua
1 1/2 oz. chocolate liquor
1 1/2 oz. butterscotch schnapps

Combine all ingredients and shake over ice. Pour into coupe glass and garnish with two cherries.
