Rock Mockumentaries! This week, Faults in the Vaults turns its attention to two rock mockumentaries from two very distinct groups of comedy giants. We ship 1984's This Is Spinal Tapoff to "Bitch School" in order to reminisce about the greatest British rock band that (n)ever was, The Rutles, in 1978's All You Need Is Cash... Josh and Mitch delight in cracking open the Mailbag to spotlight some brand new hate mail. This Week in Torrents, Josh waxes nostalgic for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and highlights an extended Director's Cut of Turtles Forever (2009)! Where in the World Cinema? takes a trip to Merry Olde England in order to highlight 2009's In The Loop, the hilariously pitch perfect, but straight black political satire, a spin-off of the successful BBC series, The Thick Of It, from the creators of HBO's Veep and starring future 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi! Mitch goes Slipping Through the Tracks to showcase Michael Kamen's fantastically eclectic jazz and samba-infused science fiction score to former Monty Python-alum, Terry Gilliam's brilliantly bizarre dystopian film, Brazil (1985). Also in this episode, celebrity encounters at the workplace with everyone's favorite Beatle, legendary comedy drop-ins, food related shenanigans, and more fun uses for the handmade products from the good people at Raleigh Soapery!
