Jack Ross, author of "The Strange Death of American Exceptionalism," discusses the ideas in his book with Ashley Frawley. Jack goes slowly through the history and his own influences and antecdents as he explains how he's dropped the idea that "before their can be a decent left we need a decent right" and has instead embraced the more pessimistic notion that we have to start by rebuilding the "concept of the left."
