Republicans in West Virginia are trying to make transgender people as “obscene material”, effectively banning them from most public spaces.

Oh, Florida! Escambia County up in the panhandle has pulled 1,600+ books from shelves for supposed review. Included are Dickens’ “A Tale of Two Cities”, Anne Frank’s “Diary of a Young Girl”, eight encyclopedias and 5 dictionaries.

Since 2020 the wealth of the five richest people has grown 114% while ($869 billion) while on the flip side nearly 5 billion people globally have become poorer. This is from an annual report by Oxfam.  The report if trends continue this way, we could see the first trillionaire within a decade. And, it would take an estimated 230 years to eliminate poverty based on the current trajectory.
