Jeff wrote a fascinating commentary on this wisdom literature book many years ago, and it still remains one of the most insightful commentaries to this day. Among other things, the conversation focuses on the use of the word generally translated as vanity in our English Bibles. But Meyers observes that a proper translation of the Hebrew hebel can influence the rest of the interpretation of the book. This is a fascinating and fruitful conversation.
