If you’re a heavy metal fan, then you know today’s story all too well... On December 8th, 2004, guitarist Darrell Abbott, or better known as “Dimebag Darrell”, and three other people were shot and killed by a crazed fan during a concert at a nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. As a heavy metal fan myself, I know the story, but since I am also a true crime fan, I wanted to take a deep dive into who the gunman was, and why on earth he felt the need to do what he did.
