Talking All Things Cardiopulm

Episode 55: Part 1: Tackling the MOSC – First we must understand ICF

Listen Later

Are you a board-certified physical therapy specialist?

Have you started the MOSC process yet? MOSC is the Maintenance of Specialty Certification process utilized by the ABPTS to help PTs re-certify in their specialty area. It’s essentially a portfolio to showcase your competence in your specialty area.

Before I go into the ins and outs of the MOSC application I wanted to first tackle the ICF model as this will be integrated within the case application.

If you never learned about the ICF in school, it’s ok, me neither, there was a change in language sometime in the early 2000s, but clearly change takes time to make its way into practice.

I’m here to help break down the nomenclature within the ICF model and help you integrate it within your MOSC case, and maybe within your practice.

If you are still feeling overwhelmed by the MOSC process, Sign up for a 1:1 mentoring call and we can discuss your individual needs to get your MOSC completed and submitted.  https://www.allthingscardiopulm.com/mentoring
