When she was young, performer and comedian April Waltersheid would record episodes of Saturday Night Live and force her friends to reenact them with her. I had a similar hobby, but with times my family were proud of me.

April and I sat on the floor of her packed-up living room and talked about creating a unique aesthetic whether it's conscious or not, the effect childhood damages can have on creativity, and how Judy Garland is less nostalgia-inspiring when you remember how rekt on ketamine she must have been.

April will be performing in Tucson at Cans Deli on July 13 at the C* nts being C* unts talking about C* nts comedy show. More details on the Facebook page
