In this episode, I share about a recent situation that happened where I did not like the idea of ringing out the sponge next to the sink. I did not realize it was causing mold. All I wanted to do was save the good soap. I learned that I can just set it aside until I’m finished. Once I am finished l, wring out the soap and let it dry out a little bit. There are many parallels to sobriety and realizing that our minds and our hearts are like dry sponges. They soak up everything around us.
