In Mark 14 and 15, we see Jesus stand before two different councils. In these passages, we catch a glimpse of Jesus walking in perfect obedience to God’s plan, while the religious leaders reveal their hypocrisy. The question we need to ask ourselves is how we can follow Jesus’ example of obedience—and how easily we, too, can drift into hypocrisy.
