Hello fellow Disney friends! Happy Monday and Happy August! Can you believe “Monster Inc” came out 20 years ago?? Feel old now? So do we. Joel and Avery discuss the benefits of streaming services releasing movies on their “premier access” vs. actually going to the movies. We see the benefit of both, but some movies you just HAVE to see in theaters.  In Part 1, Avery picks her favorite character, even without remembering much of the movie...but it takes awhile for us to get on the same page about which character we are talking about. Lol. In Part 2 Joel and Avery both agree this plot is pretty messed up. Making children scream? Kidnapping children? Like, how did this Corporation even begin? Where did the doors come from?? We have questions, Pixar. Joel had a lot of nostalgia for this film, Avery not so much. However, we both loved it and laughed along even more now as some of the quirky lines went over our heads as children. Avery also re-tells the original idea this movie was based off and it is UH-mazing. We wish they would make that movie too! This episode comes at a perfect time because the new show on Disney+ is out now and has 5 episodes out of ten already released.
