Throughout the book of Ruth, we see Ruth question why GOOD things have happened to her instead of bad. Ruth is humble and a great picture of how to respond to the Lord’s grace in our lives. The Lord uses Boaz to demonstrate His kindness. The fact that Boaz goes above and beyond to demonstrate kindness to a foreigner- that goes beyond the required law. Such a picture of God’s kindness to us- foreigners who deserve wrath as a requirement of the law, but instead receive GRACE. We DESERVE punishment, but instead receive SALVATION!
