Today on Coffee Connections we chat with both Kathryn Autry (Development Director) and Abby Garrett (Community Outreach Specialist) with Safe Shelter. This non-profit has a mission to prevent domestic violence, protect victims and promote change in lives, families and our community. Since 1979, SAFE Shelter has been Savannah’s only shelter dedicated to victims of intimate partner violence and their underage children. Open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, the Shelter provides safe, confidential services to all victims of domestic violence.

Coffee Connections is Insights with Innovators! The series is made up of short conversations with nonprofit innovators in the Atlanta area to share their missions, chat about their current successes and challenges, and close with them recommending a future guest! Our goal is to promote these organizations and help open up the dialogue on many subjects that each share.
