A Happy New You is one who relies on the Lord’s guidance and not one’s own. Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” This is the wrong way. The right way is described in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  A Happy New You trusts God, seeks God’s guidance through prayer and the study of the word and who submits to the preaching and teaching of Bible-based believers.
