It is unsettling to be in a foreign land and expected to move about comfortably. That is a challenge. When in a foreign land, it could be said that one is homeless in a sense because there is no confidence or knowledge about what it takes to make things work in that foreign land. This is also true when it comes to operating without the safety net of being emotionally, psychologically and spiritually grounded.
