In January of 2002, Spotlight, an invesitgative team from The Boston Globe, dropped an article with the headline 'Church Allowed Abuse by Priest for Years'. This article not only discusses some of the crimes of John Geoghan, but the cover-ups committed by the Archbishop of the Boston Archdiocese, Cardinal Law.
This episode explores a little into the investigation, the cover-ups, some of the crimes committed by Geoghan, and the domino effect from this first Spotlight article being released.
