Blanket statements are NOT helpful. This week Jamie and Emily talk about all of the crazy statements that have heard over the years. As parents, we are hyper-vigilant and these statements are dangerous because they make space for more judgement (and who needs that?). It is important to remember that the intent is never malicious and what works for someone else is not meant to work for you. Every circumstance is different, every family is different and every baby is different.

Remember to ask yourself: -Who is the source? -What is the context? -Who should I ask for help (lactation, pediatrician, trusted friend)? -Where to look for information?
