I don’t know about you, but summer holidays do a number on my routines, especially my cherished morning routine. The rest of the year, I count on my morning habits to start the day off on the right foot and make the rest of the day run smoothly.
After a few weeks on a family road trip and other impromptu plans, though, my mornings have become a mess.
I’m randomly waking up at 4am, I’m having hot flashes and headaches again, and I even let go of my favorite morning gratitude habit. Let’s just say I’m super-motivated to get back to what works for me.
Yesterday, I decided to embrace that 4am wake-up and did ALL the morning things I could think of. It was a lot. But it also reminded me why I have a morning routine, and of easy ways to embrace it once again.
