We talk about gun-free zones, school suspension/expulsion policies, Tobacco 21, and the looming omnibus bonding bill that funds a ton of local and regional projects that have no statewide implications.

Should these issues come from the state or be decided locally? How much local control is gladly ceded for grant money, or being able to push the blame of failure on someone else?
