Today is Part 3 of “It’s a Light Thing,” a five-part series based on a story found in 2 Kings 3:1-25. The story is about how God guides the kingdoms of Israel, Judah, and Edom in a successful military campaign against the people of Moab. As we discuss lessons from this story, we connect them to the experiences of people of African descent in recognition of Black History Month. 

 

Part 3 focuses on the following key points: In the midst of your difficulties, God is able to take your enemies and make them your allies. God has a victory waiting for you, but sometimes you have to take the long way around. Victory may not come today, but it’s coming.
