Today is Part 4 of “It’s a Light Thing,” a five-part series based on a story found in 2 Kings 3:1-25. The story is about how God guides the kingdoms of Israel, Judah, and Edom in a successful military campaign against the people of Moab. As we discuss lessons from this story, we connect them to the experiences of people of African descent in recognition of Black History Month. 

 

Part 4 focuses on the following key points: In the process of dealing with your difficulties, you must make preparations for your blessing. Trust God even when it doesn’t make sense to us and even when we don’t understand. Trust God to come through for you even when circumstances seem insurmountable.
