Hello again Disney friends! Happy Monday! This week we jump back in time to a classic, one of the OG Disney movies….”Bambi” from 1942. Joel admits that the only time he might have seen this was when he was a young, wee lad. Therefore, his memories are far and few between. Avery thinks she remembers this movie very well, and for the most part she does. However, in Part 1 she makes a few major mistakes while trying to remember the plot. She gives a few plot points away to Joel and he is blown away by the lack of memory he has for this movie. Spoiler: Bambi’s mom doesn’t die in the beginning of the movie! We get into an interesting debate about hunting, the morals of hunting, and how sometimes hunting can be done conscientiously. After watching this movie, Joel is VERY surprised at his reaction to it. We talk about all the cute animal characters, the rainstorm song, and how funny it was when the boys all got “twitterpated”. So if you’ve never seen Bambi, then go watch it.
