The game development company known as CORE Design humbly began in a small Victorian house in Derby, England back in 1988. They may be best known for creating the eponymous Tomb Raider franchise, but there’s a rich and very interesting history behind the developer, as well. Join Ed and Mike for a journey through the CORE timeline, starting with some unassuming C64 and Amiga titles, and finishing off with multi-million unit selling blockbuster hits.
