Today we wrap up our episodes in recognition of Black History Month by profiling ten important figures in early African American Christian history: Lemuel Haynes, Phillis Wheatley, Richard Allen, Jarena Lee, Sojourner Truth, Henry McNeal Turner, Amanda Berry Smith, William Joseph Seymour, Nick Chiles and Thomas Andrew Dorsey. The stories of these men and women are stories of faith and resistance.
