Joined by Albert, Alma’s hubby, the ladies team up to tackle the gory story of America’s first serial killer, H. H. Holmes, a prolific serial killer that may have killed anywhere from 27 to 200 people in the late 1800’s in Chicago and other places in the U.S.  Drinking a 2018 Chilean Malbec called Casillero Del Diablo, Carlene begins with the true crime portion, chronicling Holmes life starting before he was H.H. Holmes all the way to the gallows.  We learn about the horrors that take place in his Murder Castle in Chicago.  Alma discusses some of the paranormal activity that takes place where the Murder Castle once stood, and also in an Indiana home where one of the murders took place.
