The members of the Golden Tree Adventuring Guild prepare for the nighttime Ritual to cleanse the Grove of the Field Dryad of the harmful energies pouring out of the open Portal.  While most of the members try to relax during the day, Checkers tests the Grove’s defenses (and the Dryad’s patience) by venturing outside of the “safe” area.

Once the Ritual is underway, an unexpected… ally?... answers the call and closes the Portal, stopping the warping energies from continuing to pour into the Grove.
