Hi all, welcome to the Average Bikers in a cave Podcast. A group of average bikers chatting about all things motorbike.
We have been a way for a bit, this has been due to some big things going on in life, nothing to worry about, we are now back on track a will be returning to our usual service.
With that today's show is one we have been talking about for a while and then the opportunity to speak to a very brave person arrived.
WARNING, today's show will speak about some difficult areas such as suicide, mental health and grief.
Today we meet Catherine whose soul mate Callum ended his own life.
She is going to talk to us all about him but more importantly about her and her journey through grief and the impact on her and Callum's friends and family.
Today's message is this. If you are struggling or know someone who doesn't seem themselves, please talk to someone.
Talk to a partner, a family member, mate or work colleague or seek out one of the many organisations that are out there fighting to offer support to people who are facing a manner of things but want to help.
Also Catherine mentions a really good book by Professor Rory Oconnor, here is a link to that book as well. https://www.amazon.co.uk/When-Darkest-People-Suicide-What/dp/1785043439
