Episode 59 - Tax Evasion

Listen Later

The UK hit the grim toll of 100,000 Covid related deaths and living with restrictions has become the new norm. Even with the news of the vaccine the view towards it is overwhelmingly negative in ethnic minorities and uptake is expected to be low. Is this a case of warranted scepticism or is it just scaremongering and a case of dangerous misinformation? People are still flying out and the rich and famous are the often repeat offenders. Do their actions influence everyone to be less compliant with restrictions or is ultimately each individuals responsibility? Conor Mcgregor fought and lost for the third time in 4 fights and it begs the questions can you perform at the highest level when you wake up in silk sheets. Does comfort strip you of the hunger that actually got you there in the first place? It can be hard to relate to the rich and famous, because in general their wins and loss don’t dramatically affect their living situation as their pockets are lined well. But what if everyone was a millionaire would it make a difference? Or would things just slowly resort to the way they are because we live in a capitalistic society? Things cannot always be equal and difference in knowledge can play a pivotal role in this inequality. How much do you know about tax and its loopholes, it is an area we could all gain better knowledge in. Let us know what you think as you listen to a trending edition of TheNineToFivers Podcast!
