In our penultimate episode of Season 1, we bring on our friend Romanshi to talk about feminism, how our understanding and definition of feminism have changed over the years, and how we’ve seen feminism being portrayed in our spaces as well as other countries. Like us, Rom graduated from Scripps College, a historically women’s college. She is currently writing her thesis for her Masters at the London School of Economics on gender norms and how they can be reshaped through education in developing countries. So while we all received the same foundation of education at Scripps, Rom brings on a different perspective on things that we wanted to share!
