Improvisor Chris Avila showed up at my house demand coffee "black as the night" and my dogs asked politely if they could make a cameo appearance on the recording.

But then we talked about his efforts to create an official Comedysportz branch in high school, his belief in art as a value of the community, and how food is the enemy of successful comedy.
