Prior to that conversation, Shelby gives an update on how his son, Shelby Jr. is doing after a couple of days spent at Children's Hospital. Also, Shelby gives some details on Broncos Field Day (14:26) and pushes back at fan's who took exception to the team spending their last day of Mini-Camp in that fashion, rather than practicing (17:20). Shelby and Colton take a nice trip down memory lane to their days at Illinois State together, as well as both trying to make the Raiders roster. Shelby asks Colton if his NFL career would've lasted longer, would he have announced that he was Gay while he was playing (38:37).
