Rocco Florio is an OB/GYN who practices in Kansas City, MO. He originally hails from New York, where he completed medical school and residency. We met on a ski trip with mutual friends in 2011 and have remained friends. 

We talk about his upbringing, his newfound hobby of farming, and our semi-annual snowboarding trip.

I wanted to thank Rocco for all of the phone calls and texts he sent during my wife's pregnancy a few years ago. He was an invaluable resource of knowledge that calmed both mine and my wife's nerves. 

Rocco has written a thank you note to the parents of one of his childhood friends. They provided him with a place to stay when Rocco's parents were busy working or taking care of his much younger siblings. Rocco also shares a Thank You Haiku to me!
